Healthy diet and an exercise program

Getting on a healthy diet and an exercise program is the most important thing you can do for yourself and family. Get the whole group working together and support each other .

Having a healthy weight for your height is important. Being overweight or obese increases your risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, stroke, breathing problems, arthritis, gallbladder disease, sleep apnea (breathing problems while sleeping), osteoarthritis, and some cancers.

Having a healthy diet is easier said than done. There are so many good foods available to entice you. You have to have will power and be able so say no to those snacks, cookies, cakes and ice cream. It becomes easier the more you do it
